THE STORY BEHIND
One of the most beloved carré designs, Springs is a celebrated creation by the renowned artist and illustrator, Philippe Ledoux, whose work for Hermès remains iconic. Together with Hugo Grygkar, Ledoux shaped the timeless legacy of the house.
Inspired by an engraving preserved at Château de La Malmaison, this square showcases the Aiglon’s phaeton, a horse-drawn carriage named after the son of Helios, the Greek personification of the sun. With the legendary Hermès orange radiating through its design, this piece embodies a perfect blend of classic heritage and modern elegance—a truly valuable work, with its desirability and worth rising year after year.
